Board of Managers

In June 2017, leadership from the Multiple Listing Service of Long Island and the Hudson Gateway MLS began discussing the idea of forming a New York area regional MLS. Jim Speer, CEO of the newly formed OneKey^® MLS, worked diligently, with his sights on creating something tremendous that would serve the real estate community and consumers alike. Leading this grand-scale endeavor, Speer is the first to admit it was a collaborative effort to complete the consolidation in such a short timeframe. By September 2018, a formal agreement between MLSLI and HGMLS was in place, and OneKey® MLS was formed.

Utilizing the great minds and industry experience of visionary leaders like Richard Haggerty, then CEO of the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®, now CEO of OneKey® MLS, the MLS found success serving the entire New York metropolitan area, from Montauk to Manhattan and north through the Hudson Valley. From the beginning, Haggerty and Speer worked tirelessly alongside a team of highly regarded REALTOR® volunteers representing both MLSs to create the largest Multiple Listing Service in New York State. OneKey® MLS is currently among the top 10 Multiple Listing Services in the United States.

OneKey® MLS is governed by a Board of Managers that consists of ten representatives from the Long Island Board of REALTORS® and the Hudson Gateway Association of REALTORS®. Additionally, three Outside Managers from various related industries have been chosen to serve on the Board based on their expertise and leadership capabilities.

Proudly serving the most trusted source of accurate real estate listings and data for more than 50,000 Realtor® subscribers and 4,500 participating offices, the Board of Managers continues to lead the MLS forward. Its broad geographical footprint and wide subscriber base nurtures efficiencies and excellence for brokers and agents alike.
